The Howick and Pakuranga Community Houses Inc Society Board are excited to announce, at HIGHLAND PARK COMMUNITY HOUSE 47 Aviemore Drive, Highland Park,
Warm Up Winter Homemade Soup Fridays and Used Clothing repair evenings starting 2nd August.
Every Friday evening in August from 5:00pm to 7:00pm we are offering a FREE cup of Homemade Soup (made by our Staff, Board members and friends) including the chance to get an item of clothing repaired by our experienced Seamstress, free of charge.
Please pop in to the community house if you are passing by, or come along with your family and warm up with us – all welcome.<
Bring along an item of used clothing in need of repair, perhaps a hole has appeared in a jacket or a favourite pair of socks, jumper or buttons missing, we will do our best to fix them for you.One item per person, laundered items only, no alterations, just repairs.
We look forward to seeing you all – free community service without a catch.
